Fighting for Freedom and Recongnition SIACH participant Lucy Newman is currently in the middle of her internship at Mavoi Satum, a political organization, fighting for the rights of women denied a Get (divorce) by their husbands. Because all marriages in Israel are conducted under the Rabbinate Court, a divorce is not final until the Get has been awarded. Without a Get, a woman cannot remarry.

Young Judea goes to Uganda This year Young Judea has introduced Olami, a new extension to the Young Judaea Year Course program that brings participants face-to-face with the people, politics, history, and culture of the countries that played a pivotal role in the development of the modern state of Israel.
